Kodi Steele is the daughter of Sgt. Jeff Steele of the Finney County Sheriff’s Office.  Kodi received a $250 scholarship.  Kodi is a senior at Garden City High School and plans on attending Kansas University.

 

Welcome to KNOA,

The Kansas Narcotics Officers Association (KNOA) was founded during the latter part of 1992. Since that time, KNOA has increased to over 630 members strong.

The goals of our organization are;

  • To educate the membership and public of the dangers of narcotic and drug abuse
  • To benefit the public interest in the area of narcotic and drug enforcement
  • To promote and foster manual cooperation between narcotic enforcement officers, their agencies, private industries, and the public sector
  • To provide an avenue for the exchange of ideas and new techniques used by criminals and investigators
  • To take notice of new trends in narcotic and drug abuse
  • To keep the membership informed of new statutes, statute changes, and judicial decisions
  • To recommend, if necessary, correct legislation that the association considers to be in the best interest of the public in the area of narcotic and drug abuse
  • To provide narcotic investigative training to members and peace officers of the State of Kansas.

National Narcotic Officers' Associations' Coalition (NNOAC)K.N.O.A. is an active member of the National Narcotic Officers' Associations Coalition.  N.N.O.A.C. is comprised of individual state narcotic associations representing more than 50,000 narcotic law enforcement officers in the United States.
